J. Lorraine Campbell Jones of Remington, formerly of Veedersburg, age 73, died May 30 at her home. She was born near Veedersburg, January 1, 1910, the daughter of James E. and Meda York Campbell. April 12, 1937, she married Lowell Jones, who survives. Mrs. Jones was a member of Remington Presbyterian Church, Dorcas Club and Tri Kappa Sorority. A 1927 graduate of Veedersburg, she graduated from Indiana State University and was a teacher for many years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Renwald of Cedar Lake; and three granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Remington Presbyterian Church with Rev. Brad Longfield officiating. Burial was in Remington Cemetery. – thanks so much to S
